A few words on "Something bigger"

This series tries to  explores the feeling of something
greater than our immediate sphere of existence—a concept that dwarfs our jobs, everyday dilemmas, values and individual lives.

The core visual tension is the contrast between confinement and escape. The house acts as a central metaphor for our finitude and societal restraint, symbolizing the limits placed upon human life within the framework of a capitalistic society.

The house is contrasted with the outside world, specifically nature. This connection is reinforced by the deliberate use of brown paper, using the brown as a  raw, organic element of nature itself. On top of everything there are the birds: boundless and on the move, with their unconstrained perspective

The recurrent color red has the purpose to ignite duality, acting as both a source of relief (the heat of possibility for freedom) and a signal of emergency (the danger of staying immobile). The red simultaneously reminds us of the potential for transcendental change and the persistent immobility that keeps us within the walls. Ultimately, this series is designed to be a reminder on the viewer's wall of the personal significance of the red in their life.
