The wrong and unsettling perspective mirrors the feeling of disequilibrium that missing a loved one can cause. And then, there are the empty chairs: placeholders for individuals.
Still Life with Interruption is a meditation on memory. It seeks to capture how the energy of family lingers in objects and spaces, asserting its presence sometimes, strongly, through the weight of its absence.
